Position: (USA) Asset Protection Associate - All DC/FC

Position Summary

We are looking for an associate to play a key role in Asset Protection, Employee Health and Safety, and many other operational areas within Walmart and its subsidiaries.

Responsibilities
  • Asset Protection Security
    • Apply Asset Protection policies, practices, and guidelines.
    • Support facility security staff and monitor access control equipment.
  • Employee Health and Safety
    • Implement OSHA guidelines, safety audits, and emergency plans.
    • Maintain emergency response personnel directory and summon services as needed.
    • Conduct daily building and food safety audits, create reports, and analyze claims.
  • Partnership Collaboration
    • Identify stakeholders and manage communication and engagement.
    • Own project activity delivery, support process updates, and solve simple business issues.
  • Data and Digital Literacy
    • Gather, interpret, and report data using existing models and templates.
    • Leverage technology for transactional activities and suggest automation opportunities.
  • EHS Training Delivery
    • Support training facilitators and manage feedback processes.
    • Maintain training repositories and explain procedures to contractors.
  • Influential Communication
    • Organize and present information credibly and concisely.
    • Use data to articulate results and proactively build professional networks.
  • Process Improvement
    • Implement strategies, identify gaps, and lead incident investigations.
  • Environmental Protection
    • Apply environmental policies, respond to regulatory inquiries, and promote environmental issues.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Explain operational functions, clarify departmental roles, and describe interdependence.

    • Adhere to policies, procedures, and ethical standards, including the Open Door Policy.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • 6 months experience as a Walmart associate OR 1 year’s work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and One Drive.
    • Work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security-related field.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.60 – $27.10. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
