Field Service Technician II

Field Technician – Shakopee, MN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (plus travel/OT)
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
Location: Shakopee, MN 55379
Contract role

Our client is seeking a qualified Field Technician to provide onsite end-user support at client locations. This role requires overnight travel (Sunday–Thursday) and occasional overtime.

• Upgrade and repair commercial printers at retail locations
• Replace components (print heads, toner drums, transfer belts, power supplies, etc.)
• Troubleshoot printers, servers, and monitoring systems
• Provide onsite technical support and resolve escalated issues
• Install and remove equipment as needed
• Serve as the primary customer contact for technical issues
• Maintain service documentation and schedules

• Drug and background screening
• 2–3+ years of commercial printer field service experience (required)
• Strong electro-mechanical and hardware repair skills
• Experience with Lexmark printers preferred (certification a plus)
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel extensively
• Valid driver’s license, clean MVR, reliable vehicle
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
