Job SummaryThis role is responsible for performing electrical service, repair, and installation work in residential homes while ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail‑oriented, and customer‑focused, with a strong commitment to maintaining safe electrical systems in homes.
Essential Duties- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential settings.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Diagnose electrical problems and develop effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status, explaining technical details, and addressing any concerns.
- Safely use hand and power tools to execute tasks with precision and accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.
- Proven experience in residential electrical service work.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Positive attitude and dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches; talks or hears. Ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and bend for extended periods. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Works in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to varying weather conditions and moderate to high noise levels, confined spaces, heights, and electrical hazards.
