Our client is seeking a Drywaller to perform commercial drywall installation and finishing work on active construction projects. This role requires strong hands‑on skills in hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing drywall, along with strict adherence to jobsite safety standards. The Drywaller works under the direction of a Lead Drywaller or Superintendent and may assist less experienced team members as needed.
The ideal candidate is a skilled commercial drywaller with strong finishing abilities, comfort operating jobsite equipment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced commercial construction environment. The candidate must be reliable, safety‑focused, and capable of meeting production demands on variable work schedules.

Travel: Required to local job sites
Work Schedule: 40–70 hours/week (overtime paid at 1.5×)
Responsibilities:- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Perform additional construction tasks as assigned.
- Follow OSHA and company safety policies at all times.
- Read and follow blueprints, layout instructions, and jobsite plans.
- Operate and inspect aerial lifts, forklifts, and material‑handling equipment.
- Assist with demolition, unloading materials, staging, and jobsite preparation.
- Hang, tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall to commercial quality standards.
- All education levels considered.
- Ability to travel to job sites as required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of commercial construction safety practices.
- Ability to lift 50–80 lbs and work in varying jobsite conditions.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial drywall/sheetrock experience.
- Proficiency in hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing.
Skills:
- Experience on office, retail, industrial, or institutional commercial projects.
- Familiarity with metal stud systems, shaft walls, and commercial assemblies.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to wear required PPE.
- Near‑visual acuity for reviewing plans and documentation.
- Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and noisy environments.
- Standing, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly.
