ONE WAY WIRELESS CONSTRUCTION LLC is seeking a Tower Technician to build, upgrade, and maintain wireless telecommunications towers. Responsibilities include tower climbing, installing antennas, lines, and RF components, performing troubleshooting and routine maintenance, and adhering to strict safety and quality standards. Work in a team environment on regional travel-based projects, often outdoors and al candidates are safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable with physically demanding work.

Responsibilities
- Climb and work on telecommunications towers, rooftops, and related structures using approved fall protection systems
- Install, upgrade, and repair antennas, radios, dishes, mounts, and associated RF equipment
- Route, label, secure, and weatherproof coaxial, fiber, and power cabling according to specifications
- Perform site preparation, equipment staging, and basic civil tasks such as mounting, grounding, and hardware assembly
- Use hand and power tools, rigging, and lifting equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct pre-climb and post-climb inspections of equipment, PPE, and work areas to ensure safety compliance
- Assist with antenna and microwave dish alignment and perform basic testing to confirm system performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve routine issues with cabling, connectors, and installed equipment under supervision
- Document work performed, including photos, checklists, and material usage, and communicate status to the crew lead or project manager
- Adhere to all OSHA, company, and customer safety policies, including RF safety and lockout/tagout procedures
- Travel regularly to various job sites and work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- Participate in ongoing training and skills development to advance in the tower and telecommunications field
Required Skills
- Tower climbing and fall protection use
- Basic rigging and load-handling skills
- Installation of RF antennas, mounts, and associated hardware
- Coaxial, fiber, and power cable routing and terminations
- Use of hand and power tools
- Basic RF and transmission testing with meters or analyzers
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and site plans
- Grounding and bonding practices for telecom equipment
- Troubleshooting of cabling and hardware issues
- Field documentation and reporting (photos, forms, digital tools)
- Safe driving and operation of work vehicles
- Adherence to OSHA and telecom safety standards
