The Lead Carpenter is a full-time, on-site role based in Bloomington, MN. This role oversees day-to-day carpentry work on residential projects, including framing, finish carpentry, and installation of structural and decorative elements. The Lead Carpenter coordinates project tasks, reads and interprets plans, ensures accurate measurements, and maintains high standards of safety and workmanship. Responsibilities include mentoring crew members, managing tools and materials, communicating clearly with supervisors and homeowners, and helping keep projects on schedule and within scope.

• Strong carpentry skills, including experience leading residential construction or remodeling projects.
• Proficiency with framing techniques and structural carpentry.
• Skilled in finish carpentry, including trim, cabinetry, doors, and detail work.
• Safe and confident use of power tools related to carpentry work.
• Competent use of hand tools for precise measuring, cutting, and assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
• Commitment to jobsite safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to guide and support crew members.
• Reliable transportation to Shakopee, MN jobsites and eligibility to work on-site.
• Previous experience as a lead or senior carpenter; relevant trade training or apprenticeship is preferred.
