Delivery Specialist

Compensation

• Pay Range: $10.85 - $18.00 per hour, equal to or exceeding the minimum wage applicable to the job location
• Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed
• Premiums may apply in multiple categories when applicable criteria are met

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily inspections
• Maintain clean and well‑maintained vehicles, including daily inspections prior to operating
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and collected monies at all times
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.); complete driver return slip
• Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management, and report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage immediately
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day; clock in/out per company policy
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, and assisting customers as business dictates

• Quickly match alphanumeric sequences
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
• Driving record meeting the company’s 14/18‑point system
• Legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements

• Familiarity with automotive parts
• Ability to operate other light store equipment
• Fluency in multiple languages;
  Spanish highly desired
