Equipment Delivery Driver

Ziegler CAT is hiring an Equipment Delivery Driver to transport equipment to customers and other Ziegler locations. The driver supports Rental, Sales, and Customer Repair operations and must have a strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills.

• Complete and update daily delivery schedule progress
• Order state, county, and city permits
• Maintain accurate Hours of Service log per FMCSA regulations
• Interact with dispatch to support delivery schedule changes
• Assist Ziegler personnel in loading/unloading equipment assigned to the driver
• Determine and communicate required repairs of equipment to appropriate personnel
• Work cooperatively with team and superiors
• Maintain professional relationships with external parties
• Provide professional and courteous service to all customers at delivery
• Listen to and resolve customer complaints about delivery and pickup
• Perform vehicle walk‑around inspections per FMCSA regulations
• Inspect, refuel, and maintain vehicle daily
• Maintain knowledge of all equipment sold and serviced by Ziegler
• Perform basic truck and trailer repairs and maintenance

• High School Diploma or GED
• Class A CDL
• Hazmat endorsement preferred
• DOT medical certification card
• Clean driving record and compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations
• Ability to drive equipment safely and complete daily inspection reports
• Keep vehicle clean and in proper working order

• Push/pull up to 25 lbs
• Lift up to 60 lbs
• Lifting bulky objects, standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, high step
• Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor; noise level may be loud at times

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL, obtain a DOT medical certification card, and pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and physical.
