Warehouse Associate
Monday thru Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for assisting the materials management department with the following duties:
- Ship and receive product and examine product for damage
- Store product according to established procedures
- Assist with maintaining inventory records
- Enter inventory information into ERP system
- Understand and follow inventory management SOP’s
- Pick orders and prepare for shipment
- Troubleshoot issues utilizing the ERP system and reporting tools
- Operate pallet jack, forklift and other tools as needed
- Contribute to the daily maintenance and general cleanliness of the warehouse area
- Assist with other material management tasks when needed
Warehouse experience preferred but can train.
- Some college or technical school preferred or equivalent related work experience
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in an automated warehouse environment using scanning / scan gun technology
- Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must have prior experience using a formal ERP type system
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Willingness to offer solutions for process improvements
- Enthusiastic with ability to multi-task
- Forklift certified / previous forklift experience a plus
- Dependable
- Previous experience with Ship Exec system a plus
- Any relevant certifications a plus
