Position: General Maintenance II- Full Time/Evenings

Job Summary

Responsible for following a daily schedule of equipment service, general repair of non-medical equipment and minor construction of remodeling projects.

Job Duties
  • Maintains and repairs all non-medical equipment in all buildings and systems.
  • Performs general carpentry in support of alterations and renovations.
  • Performs masonry tasks when necessary.
  • Sets up scaffold and ladders for safe usage.
  • Repairs a variety of mechanical, plumbing, electrical equipment and general building components.
  • Maintains all tools and equipment in safe and operable condition.
  • Reports problems to supervisor.

Position Details

Geisinger is proud to offer a General Maintenance IIa $19.88 minimum hiring rate with increased rates for experienced individuals.

  • Hours: 3:30pm-12am
  • Shift: Evenings

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) – (Required)

Experience

Minimum of 4 years – Skilled labor (Required)
