General Maintenance II​/Evenings

Job Summary

Responsible for following a daily schedule of equipment service, general repair of non-medical equipment and minor construction of remodeling projects.

• Maintains and repairs all non-medical equipment in all buildings and systems.
• Performs general carpentry in support of alterations and renovations.
• Performs masonry tasks when necessary.
• Sets up scaffold and ladders for safe usage.
• Repairs a variety of mechanical, plumbing, electrical equipment and general building components.
• Maintains all tools and equipment in safe and operable condition.
• Reports problems to supervisor.

Work is typically performed in an office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Geisinger is proud to offer a General Maintenance IIa $19.88 minimum hiring rate with increased rates for experienced individuals.
