Job Summary

Geisinger offers a Patient Care Technician position with a $1500 sign‑on bonus for eligible candidates, a minimum hiring rate of $18.94 plus increased rates for experienced individuals, and up to $3 shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts. • Facilitate activities of daily living (hygiene, toileting, mobility, meals)

Responsible for performing clerical duties and direct patient care activities, enhancing the care team’s ability to provide quality care.

• Provide patient care as directed within the nursing assistant scope of practice and multidisciplinary care plan.
• Observe, document, and report patient physical needs and changes in condition to licensed personnel.
• Obtain and maintain specimen integrity per policy and physician order.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and ongoing continuum of care, including hygiene and changing linens.

• Accurately process specimens and transport them to laboratory on time.
