Job Summary

The Data Entry Operator supports workshop and service operations by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records related to service jobs, equipment history, spare parts, and operational reports. The role involves coordinating with service engineers, workshop supervisors, and administration teams to ensure data integrity, timely system updates, and compliance with company procedures. The position plays a key role in improving operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and documentation control across service and workshop activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter service job cards, work orders, time sheet and field service reports into ERP or maintenance systems.
  • Update equipment history, maintenance records, and warranty information.
  • Verify data accuracy and correct discrepancies in records.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Maintain proper filing of digital and physical documents.
  • Coordinate with service engineers, supervisors, and stores personnel.
  • Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline).
  • Experience:

    2–3 years experience in data entry or administrative support.
  • Strong data entry and typing accuracy.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
  • Basic knowledge of workshop or service operations (preferred).
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in workshop, service, or heavy equipment industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
