Entry Level Library Assistant

Entry Level Library Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of a library in Sharjah, UAE. This position is open to Indian nationals who are proficient in English and have no prior experience working in a library. This is an ideal opportunity for freshers looking to gain experience in the library field.

• Assist with circulation tasks such as checking books in and out, shelving materials, and handling fines and fees
• Provide basic reference assistance to library users
• Help maintain the organization and cleanliness of the library space
• Assist with collection development by recommending new materials for purchase
• Create displays and promotional materials to showcase library resources
  
  Participate in training sessions to learn and develop new skills related to library operations

• Indian nationality preferred
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• No prior experience working in a library required
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not mandatory
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Basic computer skills
