Librarian Assistant

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Librarian Assistant in Sharjah, UAE. As a Librarian Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the library and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of services to our patrons.

• Assist in cataloging, shelving, and organizing library materials
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with finding resources and answering inquiries
• Process new library memberships and maintain accurate membership records
• Monitor and maintain the condition of library materials
• Assist with library events and programs
• Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement new initiatives to improve library services

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fluent in English (additional languages preferred)
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills
• Prior experience in a similar role is not required but would be considered an asset
