A prestigious library in Sharjah, UAE is seeking a Junior Librarian to join their team. As an Indian national with a passion for books and knowledge, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the library. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$, perfect for freshers looking to gain experience in the field.

• Organize and maintain library materials, including shelving and cataloging
• Assist patrons with locating and checking out books, as well as answering any questions they may have
• Support the librarian in planning and coordinating library events and programs
• Monitor the condition of library materials and report any damages or missing items
• Stay up-to-date on new book releases and make recommendations to patrons
• Help with administrative tasks such as managing library memberships and issuing fines for late returns

• Indian national with excellent English language skills (Arabic is a plus)
• Passion for books, reading, and promoting knowledge
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills when interacting with patrons of all ages
• Comfortable using basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
