- Legal Affairs to join our team in Sharjah.
The Assistant Manager
- Legal Affairs supports the Group's Sharjah real estate operations through legal drafting, documentation review and regulatory coordination. The role covers contract preparation, project registrations, escrow documentation and leasing compliance, ensuring accuracy, timely filings and adherence to applicable Sharjah regulatory requirements.
Contract Drafting & Document Review
- Draft and review routine contracts including SPAs, reservation forms, addenda, consultancy agreements and standard construction/FM documents.
- Ensure documents follow approved templates and reflect regulatory requirements before escalation for final approval.
- Prepare checklists, supporting documents and basic filings for project registration and escrow operations.
- Coordinate with Finance, engineers and auditors to collect required data for withdrawal requests, progress certifications and authority submissions.
- Prepare tenancy contracts, renewals, notices and supporting paperwork as per Sharjah leasing rules.
- Compile case documents, summaries and evidence for matters referred to external counsel or the Rental Disputes Center.
- Draft board/shareholder resolutions, UBO forms and routine corporate documents for SPVs as instructed.
- Maintain logs for authorizations, signatory updates and basic corporate records.
- Conduct CDD/KYC checks, collect documentation and maintain records for AML files.
- Escalate potential red flags to the Manager for further assessment.
- Monitor regulatory updates affecting Sharjah real estate and prepare concise internal summaries.
- Coordinate with Sales, CRM, Projects and Property Management for document flow, clarifications and template usage.
Skills Required:
Educational Qualification &
Certifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Law, or equivalent.
- Additional legal qualifications/certifications are an advantage.
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UAE legal roles, preferably involving real estate documentation, leasing, escrow, or SPV filings
- Familiarity with SRERD procedures and tenancy frameworks is preferred
- Strong drafting, attention to detail and document management skills
- Ability to interpret requirements and prepare accurate filings
- Good communication and coordination capability across departments
- Working proficiency in Arabic is an advantage
