Oracle Fusion Finance Consultant in Estat​/Construction domain

Job Overview

We have an urgent requirement for an Oracle Fusion Finance Consultant in the Real Estate/Construction domain for one of our clients in Sharjah.

At least two full lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations is a MUST.

• Implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP – Financials modules is MUST.
• Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle Fusion Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Expense Management, Budgeting & Planning) – Must.
• Oracle Fusion end-to-end implementation experience is MUST.
• Real Estate / Construction Domain – MUST.

Oracle Fusion Finance Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP – Financials modules to meet organizational business requirements. The consultant works closely with finance stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to deliver end-to-end ERP solutions that enhance financial processes, reporting accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

• Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle Fusion Financial modules, including:
  General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management / Treasury, Expenses Management, Budgeting and Planning.
• Conduct business process workshops with finance teams to gather requirements and recommend best practices.
• Track project budgets, costs, and commitments to ensure profitability.
• Manage capitalization of construction assets, machinery, and equipment.
• Support bank reconciliations, payments, and fund transfer specific to large-scale construction operations.
• Configure chart of accounts, ledger structures, reporting currencies, accounting calendars, and periods.
• Implement financial workflows, approval hierarchies, and automation for AP/AR, expenses, and payments.
• Configure tax setups, statutory compliance, and local accounting regulations.
• Implement customer invoicing, credit management, collections, and receivables processes.
• Configure asset lifecycle management: acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, revaluation, and disposal.
• Set up cash management processes, bank reconciliation, and treasury functions.
• Support data migration and integration from legacy finance systems, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues in financial modules.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer for finance users on system functionality, reporting, and best practices.
• Collaborate with other functional teams (HCM, SCM, Projects) to ensure integrated financial processes.
• Provide strategic financial guidance leveraging Oracle Fusion insights, dashboards, and analytics.
• Support internal and external audit requirements by maintaining accurate reporting and compliance documentation.
• Recommend process improvements, automation, and digital finance initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Stay updated on Oracle Finance updates, patches, and new features, assessing their impact on business processes.
• Assist in global rollouts or multi-entity implementations, ensuring localization and statutory compliance.
• Ensure material costs, subcontractor invoices, and labor expenses flow correctly into project financials.
• Configure intercompany transactions across multiple construction entities.
• Design, implement, and maintain a flexible and industry-specific Chart of Accounts aligned with construction project needs.
• Configure account combinations to capture project costs, revenue, overhead, and corporate expenses accurately.
• Coordinate with project and finance teams to map legacy accounts to Oracle Fusion during implementation or migration.
• Maintain account hierarchies for reporting at project, division, and corporate levels.
• Set up and manage Legal Entities in Oracle Fusion to represent construction companies, subsidiaries, and joint ventures.
• Support statutory compliance, taxation, and financial consolidation for multiple entities.
• Define and manage segment values (such as Cost Center, Project, Department, Location) in Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Implement validation rules and reporting structures to maintain consistency across projects and entities.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP, IFRS, and organizational accounting policies.

• Define performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensure that the goals are achieved during the year.
• Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and agreeing on the individual development plan which goes beyond just training and development.
• Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth.

• Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ Experience in Oracle Fusion End-to-End Implementation Circle.
• A minimum of two successful implementations in the Construction and Real Estate industry is required.
