Regulatory Compliance Manager - Compliance

Job Purpose

• Be the subject matter expert for FATCA & CRS within Compliance Department
• Lead the FATCA & CRS Program Bank-wide
• Initiate the necessary enhancements in Policies, Procedures, Systems, including automation, etc. to ensure full compliance with FATCA & CRS regulatory requirements.
• Support all Bank initiatives under multiple stakeholders to ensure full compliance with FATCA & CRS regulatory requirements.

• Performing periodic FATCA & CRS monitoring controls on Business related activities and formalizing the associated reports.
• Creating a Tracker with the action items under the different stakeholders with relevant due dates and following up on the progress.
• Reviewing and challenging stakeholders’ feedback and the relevant documentation / justifications/ progress.
• Support projects and initiatives Bank-wide which impact FATCA & CRS to ensure these are driven in line with regulatory requirements.
• Leading the annual FATCA & CRS report submission to CBUAE, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Leading and coordinating all CBUAE Examinations and RFIs related to FATCA & CRS.
• Leading the training initiatives (in coordination with HCM L&D) to relevant Bank employees on FATCA & CRS.
• Reporting permanently to the Head of the unit and the Chief Compliance Officer on the progress of the FATCA/CRS program.
• Preparing the presentations to report to Compliance Committee and the BRCC on the overall progress of the FATCA & CRS program.
• Keeping abreast of FATCA & CRS Regulations, best practices and developments.

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
• 10 years’ experience – Similar assignments within Compliance Department
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal / written)
• Experience working on high importance projects / regulatory remediation projects with multiple stakeholders
