Branch Teller Islamic Bank

Overview

Sharjah Islamic Bank is currently seeking highly accurate and customer-focused Branch Tellers to facilitate everyday financial transactions, process secure deposits, and uphold exceptional service standards at our primary Sharjah location.

• Process customer cash deposits, physical withdrawals, cheque clearings, and internal transfers securely through the core banking system.
• Authenticate customer signatures, verify original identity documents (Emirates /Passport), and strictly prevent any fraudulent activities at the counter.
• Balance the assigned cash drawer meticulously at the close of every business day, reporting any overages or shortages immediately to the Branch Manager.
• Promote the bank's digital and self-service channels by guiding clients on how to utilize mobile banking and smart ATMs effectively.

• Experience:
  
  At least 1 to 2 years of active teller, cashier, or high-volume cash-handling experience within the UAE retail banking sector.
• Skills:
  
  Strong proficiency in numerical calculations and strict adherence to the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) anti-money laundering (AML) protocols.
• Clearance:
  Candidates must possess a flawless financial and legal record, including a high Al Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB) score and a valid police clearance certificate.

• Salary: 5,000 - 7,000 AED base monthly, varying based on prior banking experience and bilingual proficiency.
