Job Category Operations

To provide administrative support to Investment and Treasury operations by processing the deals executed at investment and treasury front office and perform the administrative work.

Processing Of Deals

• Process, verify, monitor treasury F X / MM / INV deals related to daily processing of operations
• Checking of Treasury & Investment Deals, prerequisites and after process.
• Checking and monitoring of related payments (MT2021M T200 and Central Bank payments).
• Checking and monitoring of incoming and out-going deal confirmations / payments.
• Checking and verifying of receipts & payments of major foreign currencies (USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, CHF, etc) on a daily basis including GCC currencies under Treasury deals.
• Efficiently process and execute all Investment, Equity, Fund & other Own Book/Client Book transactions in the system

MIS Reports

• Extract daily reports for SOD Settlement Process
• Control and monitoring of Nostro Reconciliation for Treasury deals.
• Manage all types of incomes/returns for the investment / treasury deals and their related accountings.
• Maintain and update the calculation sheets required to process/control all department transactions including, customer FX position/investment sheet.
• Monthly Reconciliation of outstanding amounts in Nostros and Suspense accounts
• Extract daily reports for EOD activities

Monitoring / Controls

• Monitoring checking of supporting documents related to International Murabaha Deals / Collateralized Murabaha Deals / SWAP Deals / PRS Deals etc.
• 1 st level check and initiation of documentation related to International Murabaha Deals / Collateralized Murabaha Deals / SWAP Deals / PRS Deals etc.
• 1 st level check and initiation of External Audit Confirmations
• 1 st level check on emails from CT P to ensure they are responded to during TRIOPS day to day operations. Assist in providing efficient support to Branches, Internal Customers with regards to information and processing of related investment transactions in the system.
• Maintaining and monitoring of VIP FX INV INVEST Clients' Weighted Average Cost in excel sheet for the calculation of FX Margins / Realized Gain/Loss for Client F X Invest deals.
• Matching of FX Client Positions in new Treasury System and Core System
• Diarizing of all future exceptional payments related to Treasury & Investments area, if required.
• Assist in keeping records/follow-ups & monitor cash flow in/out related to investment deals and report any delays. Actively support in testing & certification of various new and existing Treasury & Investment processes and associated work instructions.
• Perform any other miscellaneous tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
• Assist in monitoring revaluations for various debt/equity or funds' investments and preparing related accounting entries.
• Assist in keeping records/follow-ups & monitor cash flow in/out related to investment deals and report any delays.
• Actively support in testing & certification of various new and existing Treasury & Investment processes and associated work instructions.
• Perform any other miscellaneous tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Cash Flow Management

• Monitor and follow-up the cash flows related to investment and treasury deals and report any delays or discrepancies.
• Process the transactions related to profit receipt and payments in Creation Online.
• Control the process of diarizing of all future payments. Undertake the reconciliation of outstanding amounts in Nostro and suspense accounts.
• Monitor and review the different MIS reports to ensure that a robust control on inward and outward payments is in place.

Team Orientation

• Monitoring all aspects of the Investment & Treasury operational works on a day-to-day basis.
• Provide efficient support to other departments within SIB with regards to processing of department transactions.
• Liaise with related departments in order to provide external/internal audit requirements.
