Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy and completeness of books of accounts
• Ensure timely monthly and annual closing of accounts
• Review General Ledger, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account regularly
• Prepare and review monthly MIS, P & L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports for management
• Monitor Gross Profit (GP) and Net Profit (NP) margins and identify areas for improvement
• Prepare branch-wise and product-wise profitability analysis to support management decisions
• Compare Actual vs Budget vs Target, identify major variances and provide clear explanations and corrective actions
• Monitor branch and departmental expenses against approved budgets and control unnecessary expenditure
• Monitor and ensure timely clearance of pending unreconciled and suspense entries
• Review customer outstanding and collections and ensure timely recovery of receivables
• Plan and monitor supplier payments based on due dates, priorities and available cash flow
• Manage cash flow and fund planning to ensure sufficient funds for business operations
• Review stock and production variances including shortages, damages, yield differences and reconciliation issues
• Review product costs and recommend selling-price revisions and cost-control measures to protect profitability
• Ensure audit compliance and timely closure of internal and external audit observations
• Supervise the finance and branch accounts teams ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Product Costing - Raw materials and Finished Goods

5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in manufacturing/trading or a multi-branch environment.

CA Inter / CMA Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of accounting, MIS, P & L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, budgeting, variance analysis, and product costing (Raw Materials & Finished Goods).

Experience in supervising and managing finance/accounts teams and branch accounting operations.

Strong analytical, financial reporting, reconciliation, cost-control, and decision-making skills.

Hyderabad; candidate should be willing to relocate.
