Server​/Waitress

Responsibilities

• Greet guests by name if known and assist in seating them comfortably
• Serve guests within assigned stations under the supervision of the manager and supervisor
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of food beverage offerings and service details including preparation methods
• Anticipate customer needs and proactively respond to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and foster strong guest relations
• Report any customer complaints to the supervisor in a timely manner
• Place orders in the kitchen and ensure proper operating equipment is set up on tables
• Stock cabinets and drawers with adequate mis-en-place to facilitate smooth and efficient service
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and wear the prescribed uniform at all times
• Ensure outlet cleanliness is maintained at all times
• Stay familiar with all hotel facilities to assist and guide guests
• Conduct daily inventory of supplies and equipment
• Perform side duties and other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or manager

• Prior experience as a waitress or in a guest-facing hospitality role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation methods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest service
• Presentable, well-groomed appearance in line with prescribed hotel standards
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
• Organizational skills to manage inventories and station set-up
