As an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you’re not just supporting daily operations of one or more dining outlets – you’re contributing to creating memorable guest experiences that leave a lasting impression.
Responsibilities- Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing the daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring consistent service standards and guest satisfaction.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Hilton brand standards, policies, procedures, and service excellence initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and motivate Food & Beverage team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve departmental objectives.
- Assist with staff scheduling, daily briefings, duty assignments, and effective deployment of team members according to business levels.
- Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and operational standards, taking prompt corrective action where required.
- Assist in managing departmental revenues, costs, payroll, and operational expenses in line with approved budgets and business targets.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, portion control, presentation, and compliance with established standards.
- Support inventory control, stocktaking, purchasing, receiving, and proper storage of food, beverage, and operating supplies.
- Ensure compliance with Hilton’s food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP requirements.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, following through to ensure satisfactory resolution and guest recovery.
- Conduct regular outlet inspections and ensure that corrective actions are completed within agreed timelines.
- Work closely with the Culinary, Stewarding, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Assist with training, onboarding, performance coaching, and development of Food & Beverage team members.
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and communicate hotel information, promotions, VIP arrivals, special events, and operational priorities to the team.
- Support the planning and execution of promotions, special events, banquets, conferences, and other Food & Beverage activities.
- Maintain effective communication with guests, colleagues, supervisors, and management at all times.
- Monitor departmental KPIs and assist in implementing action plans to improve revenue, productivity, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
- Ensure proper cash handling, billing procedures, POS controls, and financial policies are consistently followed.
- Assist with recruitment and selection of Food & Beverage team members in accordance with company procedures.
- Promote a positive working environment based on teamwork, respect, recognition, and Hilton’s service culture.
- Ensure all team members are familiar with emergency procedures and comply with hotel health, safety, security, and fire regulations.
- Deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence and take responsibility for the effective operation of the department.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

- Advantage: having a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant Food & Beverage management experience, preferably within an international or branded hotel environment.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within restaurants, or hotel Food & Beverage operations.
