MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLEThe Consultancy & Resourcing Advisor is responsible for the sourcing, deployment, management and retention of consultants supporting client operations across the Middle East and North Africa region.
The role acts as the primary focal point between consultants, clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring consultant requirements are fulfilled efficiently while maintaining a high level of service delivery, consultant engagement and client satisfaction.
The position is accountable for building and maintaining a robust consultant talent pipeline, supporting workforce planning activities, coordinating consultant mobilisation and onboarding, monitoring consultant performance and wellbeing, and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the consultant lifecycle.
The role plays a key part in growing and developing the consultancy services business by ensuring clients have access to high-quality personnel and workforce solutions that meet operational requirements safely, efficiently and cost effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and maintain a strong network of consultants across Operations, Maintenance, Wells, Engineering, Projects, Construction, Commissioning, Turnaround and Asset Management disciplines.
- Build, maintain and continuously expand a qualified talent pipeline to support existing contracts and future business opportunities.
- Identify, engage and evaluate suitable consultants through direct sourcing, referrals, market mapping, networking and industry engagement.
- Maintain consultant databases, skills inventories and workforce planning tools.
- Provide market intelligence relating to consultant availability, compensation trends and competitor activity.
- Manage the full consultant lifecycle from initial engagement through mobilisation, deployment, extension and demobilisation.
- Coordinate consultant onboarding activities including compliance checks, documentation, visas, work permits, medicals, training and client approvals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for consultants throughout their assignments.
- Monitor assignment performance, utilisation, contract extensions and upcoming resource requirements.
- Support consultant retention initiatives and maintain regular engagement with deployed personnel.
- Ensure consultants receive timely support regarding payroll, timesheets, travel, accommodation and operational matters.
- Act as the primary client interface for all consultant-related matters.
- Develop strong relationships with client representatives and workforce planning teams.
- Understand client workforce requirements and develop resourcing strategies to meet project and operational needs.
- Coordinate timely fulfilment of consultant requests in line with agreed service levels.
- Manage consultant performance feedback from clients and coordinate corrective actions where necessary.
- Conduct regular client review meetings to assess service quality, resource performance and future workforce requirements.
- Support key account growth and repeat business opportunities through exceptional service delivery.
- Coordinate with HR, Operations, Commercial, Finance and Procurement teams to ensure consultants are mobilised efficiently and compliantly.
- Monitor mobilisation progress and proactively address barriers to deployment.
- Support travel, accommodation, rotational schedules and logistical arrangements where applicable.
