Job Description
The Senior Account Executive at our company plays a critical role in driving business growth and maintaining strong relationships with clients. As a seasoned professional with experience in sales and account management, you will be responsible for managing and expanding existing client accounts, as well as identifying opportunities for new business. Your expertise in strategic planning and execution will be essential as you work to meet and exceed sales targets, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.
This position requires a self-starter who is able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand client base.
- Manage a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring a strong and trusting relationship.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to enhance revenue growth.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams for client success.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and client satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends and identify emerging markets and sectors for business development.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to clients and key stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activity and use insights to inform sales strategies and tactics.
- Provide clients with exceptional service and support to maintain high retention rates.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics, providing actionable insights to management.
- Work closely with finance to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
- Organize and participate in industry events to enhance brand presence and awareness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management roles.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close high-value deals effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly for success.
- Experience with CRM software and other sales-related technology tools.
- Self-motivated, with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
