Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients through various channels such as online research, networking, referrals, and field visits.
- Make cold calls to new prospects and seek opportunities for appointments with potential channel partners.
- Regularly visit and engage with identified potential channel partners to generate leads and enquiries.
- Closely pursue PCPs for receipts of orders and appoint them as new channel partners.
- Interact closely with new and existing channel partners to ensure continued business and achieve month‑on‑month revenue growth.
- Liaise with inactive channel partners to identify and bridge gaps and convert them to active partners.
- Generate project leads by visiting project sites and exploring project partner networks.
- Actively work to achieve weekly and monthly revenue targets.
- Diligently work with all channel partners to ensure timely payment collection.
- Prepare detailed MIS reports related to visits, outcomes of meetings, and weekly and monthly order forecasts.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities for strategic decision‑making.
- 3–5 years of experience in field sales and revenue generation, preferably in the building material industry – interior, fit‑outs, projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for building relationships across customers and channel partners.
- Proficiency in preparing and updating daily and weekly field sales reports.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and drive results through collaboration and innovation.
- Graduation in any field / Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Basic and soft skills: exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability and resilience in a fast‑paced environment, strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Technical skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), experience with CRM software, familiarity with field sales marketing strategies and techniques.
