Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Business Development Manager to lead the sales growth and business development activities of our lubricants manufacturing company. The candidate will develop new customers, distributors, and trading partners, expand existing business and identify new markets for automotive and industrial lubricants. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in lubricants, automotive oils, industrial lubricants, base oils, additives or a related petroleum oil industry, and a proven track record in B2B sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to achieve company revenue and volume targets.
  • Identify and develop new customers, distributors, dealers, traders and business partners in UAE and international markets.
  • Develop export business and establish distribution networks in targeted countries.
  • Generate new leads through market research, industry networks, exhibitions, direct contact and other business development channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, fleet operators, workshops, industrial customers, traders and corporate clients.
  • Promote and sell the company's range of automotive, commercial vehicle, motorcycle and industrial lubricants.
  • Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the technical, production and quality teams to provide suitable product solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, commercial proposals and negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.
  • Monitor market prices, competitor activities, customer requirements and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities for private-label contract manufacturing and bulk lubricant supply.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and regularly update management on business opportunities.
  • Follow up on enquiries, quotations, orders, payments and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with logistics, production, warehouse and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.
  • Attend customer meetings, trade exhibitions, conferences and industry events to generate business opportunities.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, market reports and business development updates for management.
  • Achieve assigned sales, collection, customer acquisition and market expansion targets.
  • Travel locally and internationally when required for customer meetings and business development activities.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in sales/business development, preferably in lubricants, automotive oils, industrial oils, base oils, additives, petroleum products or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the lubricants market, distribution channels and B2B sales.
  • Experience in developing distributors and dealers is highly preferred.
  • Experience in export sales and international business development will be an advantage.
  • Existing industry contacts with lubricant distributors, traders, workshops, fleet operators or industrial customers will be an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
  • Good understanding of commercial terms, pricing and sales margins.
  • Ability to independently generate leads and convert opportunities into business.
  • Strong networking and relationship-management skills.
  • Target-oriented, proactive and commercially driven.
  • Willingness to travel for business development and customer meetings.
  • UAE driving licence is preferred.
