The Wholesale Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing Dr. Scent’s wholesale business across the united arab emirates . The role focuses on achieving revenue and profitability targets, expanding the wholesale customer network, managing the sales team, controlling credit and collections, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy and Growth- Prepare and implement the annual wholesale sales plan.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and collection targets.
- Identify growth opportunities by product, territory and customer segment.
- Expand business with wholesalers, distributors, resellers, perfume shops, retailers and other approved B2B customers.
- Develop promotional plans to increase sales of new and slow-moving products.
- Maintain the approved selling prices and required profit margins.
- Identify, approach and activate new wholesale customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and increase repeat orders.
- Conduct regular customer visits and monitor market requirements.
- Negotiate quotations, commercial terms and contracts within the approved authority.
- Resolve customer complaints, returns and service issues in coordination with the concerned departments.
- Ensure that customers do not resell products outside approved territories or channels without authorization.
- Allocate monthly targets by salesperson, territory and customer segment.
- Prepare daily and weekly visit plans for the sales team.
- Monitor individual performance, customer visits, quotations, orders and collections.
- Coach and train the team on products, pricing, negotiation and customer management.
- Conduct weekly sales meetings and prepare corrective action plans for underperforming employees.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding and performance evaluations.
- Ensure all sales comply with approved customer credit limits and payment terms.
- Monitor outstanding balances and overdue invoices with Finance and Collection.
- Do not approve further credit sales for blocked or overdue customers without management authorization.
- Maintain accurate customer statements and follow up on payment commitments.
- Support the collection team in resolving disputes and recovering overdue amounts.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts by product and customer.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse and Production to ensure product availability.
- Monitor out-of-stock products, excess inventory and slow-moving items.
- Share information about major orders, promotions and seasonal demand in advance.
- Ensure orders are processed, delivered and received by customers on time.
- Ensure that all leads, quotations, orders, visits and customer information are recorded in the ERP/CRM.
- Review the daily sales and collection performance of each salesperson.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports covering:
- New and active customers.
- Sales pipeline and expected orders.
- Customer visits and quotations.
- Outstanding and overdue balances.
- Lost customers and lost sales.
- Market prices and competitor activities.
- Required management actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum five years of B2B or wholesale sales experience.
- Minimum two years of experience managing a sales team.
- United Arab Emirates market experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in fragrance, FMCG, cosmetics, retail supply or related products is an advantage.
- Valid united Arab emirates driving licence is mandatory.
- Good command of Arabic and English.
- Strong knowledge of ERP, CRM, Excel and sales reporting.
