Senior Chemist – Water Treatment

The Senior Chemist 0er Water Treatment is responsible for monitoring water quality, conducting chemical analysis, managing chemical dosing, and supporting the efficient operation of Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plants. The role ensures compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting operational excellence.

• Collect and analyze water samples from seawater intake through storage to ensure water quality compliance.
• Monitor and optimize chemical dosing throughout the water treatment process.
• Manage chemical inventory and stock levels for RO plants.
• Prepare chemical analysis reports, operational records, and annual chemical requirements.
• Monitor operational performance and recommend process improvements.
• Supervise and guide team members while supporting technical training and development.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain accurate technical documentation.

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience in water treatment, RO plant operations, water quality analysis, or laboratory operations.
• Strong knowledge of chemical analysis, water treatment processes, and laboratory testing.
• Experience with laboratory instruments and data analysis software.
• Good analytical, reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of HSE, quality, and environmental standards related to water treatment.
