A construction company in Sharjah is seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team. As a Mason you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors and pathways using various materials including brick, stone and concrete. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This position is suitable for men of any nationality who are proficient in English and able to work legally in the UAE.
- Read blueprints or drawings to determine the scope of work.
- Measure and cut materials to fit specific dimensions.
- Mix mortar and other materials according to specifications.
- Lay bricks or stones in a predetermined pattern.
- Install concrete blocks or slabs as needed.
- Use specialized tools such as trowels, levels and plumb bobs.
- Repair or replace damaged brickwork or masonry.
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and regulations.
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately.
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Valid work permit for the UAE (free visa sponsorship provided if needed).
- Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.
