Site Erection Foreman

Lead and supervise a crew of erection workers to ensure efficient workflow and task completion on-site.

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and erection drawings to accurately guide the installation of structural components.
• Oversee the safe operation of lifting equipment such as cranes and hoists, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk mitigation.
• Supervise daily structural steel erection activities and coordinate installation of columns, beams, trusses, bracings, staircases, handrails, and miscellaneous steel works.
• Allocate work to erectors, riggers, welders, and helpers.
• Monitor site productivity and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Coordinate crane operations, rigging, and lifting activities.
• Ensure erection works comply with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, QA QC, and Safety teams.
• Monitor material availability and site equipment utilization.
• Report daily progress, manpower status, and site issues.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in structural steel erection or similar heavy industrial construction.
• Proven leadership experience managing and motivating diverse teams in demanding site environments.
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; technical trade school or apprenticeship completion highly desirable.
• Valid certifications in relevant areas such as rigging, crane signaling, or scaffold erection.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making ability.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
