Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance and repair of air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Safely transport tools, equipment and materials to job sites while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Diagnose issues in HVAC systems using specialized tools and adjust components as necessary to enhance efficiency. Perform installations of new air conditioning systems ensuring compliance with local codes and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs and maintenance work to track performance and customer satisfaction. Respond promptly to emergency service calls providing quick and effective solutions to minimize downtime for clients. Educate clients on proper use and maintenance of their HVAC systems to enhance user experience and system longevity. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and share best practices in HVAC technology.
Keep the vehicle and equipment in good condition ensuring all tools are accounted for and properly maintained. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies and safety guidelines to maintain high-quality service.
Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC installation and repair, showcasing a proven track record. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, emphasizing responsibility and safety on the road. Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics to facilitate effective repairs. Strong problem‑solving skills, enabling quick and efficient diagnosis of system issues. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and collaboration. Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
