Instrument Technician

A reputable oil and gas company in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance and repair of various instruments and control systems used in the oil and gas industry. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

• Install, calibrate, maintain and repair various instruments and control systems used in the oil and gas industry.
• Troubleshoot issues with instruments and control systems to identify the root cause of problems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating and adjusting equipment.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed on instruments.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrument technology.

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Strong knowledge of instrument calibration techniques.
• Familiarity with various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, etc.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Salary: The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.

Location: This job is located in Sharjah. Preference will be given to Indian candidates who are currently residing in Sharjah or willing to relocate.

Accommodation: This job does not include accommodation. Preference will be given to candidates who can arrange their own accommodation.

Students: This job is suitable for students who have previous experience as an Instrument Technician. However, preference will be given to candidates with at least 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Students must have a flexible schedule that allows them to work during weekends or holidays.
