Responsibilities
- Oversee daily welding operations ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards while managing a diverse team of welders.
- Review project blueprints and specifications to determine the necessary welding techniques and equipment needed for successful execution.
- Conduct regular inspections of welding work to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company quality assurance policies.
- Train and mentor junior welders, providing guidance on techniques and best practices to enhance their skills and productivity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding or a related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in welding, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Certified Welder (AWS, ASME, or equivalent certification) indicating proficiency in various welding techniques.
- Experience in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or shipbuilding, with a strong understanding of specific welding requirements.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available, including those on cancelled or visit visas.
