Skilled Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing various structures and fixtures made of wood, such as door frames, cabinets, furniture and other wooden objects.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and materials needed for a project
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils or chalk
• Cut, shape and join materials (wood or other materials) using hand tools and power tools
• Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim or hardware made of wood
• Repair or replace damaged frameworks or other wooden parts of buildings or structures
• Inspect finished products for quality control and make necessary adjustments
• Operate woodworking machinery including saws, routers and sanders
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while working on job sites

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Good knowledge of different carpentry techniques including framing, finishing and cabinetry
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Attention to detail with good mathematical skills
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
• Strong communication skills
• Pakistani or Egyptian nationality preferred

This is a contract job with a salary of 1000$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided but candidates must have their own valid visa to work in the UAE. English language skills are not required for this position but basic communication skills are preferred.
