Plumbing Technician
We are a reputable plumbing company based in Sharjah and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a Plumbing Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your main duties will include reading blueprints, identifying plumbing problems, repairing or replacing damaged pipes or fixtures, and ensuring that all work is done according to safety codes and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 3 years of experience working as a plumber, preferably in the UAE. You must also possess excellent knowledge of various pipe systems, fittings, and fixtures. Good manual dexterity and physical stamina are essential as you will be required to work in tight spaces and lift heavy equipment. A valid plumbing license is also required.
Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems such as water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas lines
- Read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Identify plumbing problems and provide solutions
- Repair or replace damaged pipes or fixtures using appropriate tools
- Ensure all work is done according to safety codes and regulations
- Test pipes for leaks using air pressure or water pressure gauges
- Install and maintain water heaters, toilets, sinks, faucets, bathtubs, showers, etc.
- Collaborate with other team members on larger projects
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns or questions
- Proven experience working as a plumber for at least 3 years
- Excellent knowledge of various pipe systems such as PVC, copper, PEX etc.
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Valid plumbing license
- Familiarity with safety codes and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to work on weekends or after-hours if needed
Salary: 900$ per month

This is a full-time position and fluency in English is required.
