Excavator Operator - Sharjah, UAE

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, grade and move earth or other materials as per project requirements.

• Operate and maintain excavator equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform daily pre-operational checks on equipment and report any defects or issues.
• Safely load, transport, and unload materials using the excavator.
• Excavate trenches, foundations, ditches, and other areas as required.
• Grade and level earth surfaces using the excavator.
• Operate attachments such as augers, breakers, buckets, etc. as needed.
• Coordinate with ground crew to ensure safety of personnel and effective completion of tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed including time sheets, maintenance logs, etc.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid operator's license for heavy equipment such as an excavator.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating an excavator in a construction environment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to operate equipment precisely.
• Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

The salary for this position is $900 per month.

This role is based in Sharjah, UAE.
