A reputable construction company in Sharjah is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. The ideal candidate will have excellent carpentry skills and the ability to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately.
Key Responsibilities:- Construct and install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Measure, cut, shape, and join materials made of wood or other materials
- Read blueprints and building plans to determine project specifications
- Install cabinets, shelves, doors, and other finished products
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools
- Inspect work sites for potential hazards and comply with safety regulations
- Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects within given deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven carpentry experience is preferred but not required for this entry-level position
- Ability to read blueprints accurately
- Excellent knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, equipment and methods
- Basic math skills
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Salary: 900$
Location:
Sharjah (Preference for Malayalees)
