Overview:
Early Childhood Teacher (Maternity Leave)
The Striar Hebrew Academy Yaakov Spellman Early Learning Center (Sharon, MA) is seeking an early childhood teacher for the school year to cover a maternity leave. The position runs from November to May, Monday to Thursday 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM, and Friday 7:45 AM – 2:15 PM, with flexibility in scheduling. You would work with a skilled co‑teacher and have access to support to run a successful classroom.

After-SchoolSupport Teacher (Part-Time)
We are looking for a caring, responsible, and energetic After-School Support Teacher to join our after-school team. This part-time role is suited for individuals who enjoy working with children in a nurturing and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities (After-School):
- Supervise and engage with students in grades Nursery through 5 during after-school hours
- Support a safe, welcoming, and positive environment
- Lead or assist with activities such as crafts, games, homework help, and snack time
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
Ensure children are picked up safely and transitioned smoothly between activities.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM;
Friday 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Occasional additional hours on half-days or during school events, as well as substitute opportunities, may be available.
- Experience working with children in an educational or camp setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage groups of children with warmth and consistency

CompensationCompetitive hourly rate based on experience.
