Sharon High School is seeking a full-time Building Substitute/After School Building Support.

Responsibilities:

• In the absence of the classroom teacher, provide instruction and manage the learning environment.
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.
• Assist in the coordination of other substitute teachers at Sharon High School.
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration.
• Monitor Lunches
• Monitor building breakout spaces and hallways
• After school front office coverage
• Overall building guide
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration.

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to adapt to sudden work assignment changes in response to immediate school/district needs.
• Work independently and in a team environment.
• Work cooperatively with students and SPS employees.
• A sense of humor and a proven ability to work in a polite and friendly manner with all employees and community members.

Hours:

10:30 am to 5:00 pm Position Type: Substitute
