What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructions to understand part requirements
- Select the right tools, equipment, and methods to achieve required finishes and tolerances
- Operate a variety of deburring and finishing equipment
, including lathes, tumbling equipment, microscopes, grinders, and hand tools - Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications
- Identify and resolve issues by troubleshooting processes and making adjustments
- Apply techniques to repair or salvage complex assemblies when possible
- Maintain required operator certifications and safety standards
- Recommend improvements to tools, equipment, and processes to increase efficiency and quality
- Support teammates by sharing knowledge, answering questions, and helping train others
- Experience in deburring, finishing, or precision metalworking
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with measurement tools and surface finish requirements
- Comfort using hand tools, grinders, lathes, and other shop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED
Hiring Range: $22.00-$27.00/hr with a 15% 2nd shift differential. Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications
