Job Description & How to Apply Below

For more than 70 years,
Senior Metal Bellows has been pushing the limits of innovation—designing and building custom-engineered metal bellows for industries that demand the best: aerospace, defense, energy, and beyond.

We’re not just making parts—we’re making solutions no one else can. And we want you to be part of it.

Drive performance in a precision manufacturing environment by leading daily operations across machining and inspection. The Production Supervisor is responsible for translating business priorities into execution, ensuring quality, flow, and on-time delivery while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

This role requires a hands‑on leader who can balance shop‑floor execution with big‑picture thinking, ensuring work is aligned to the highest‑impact priorities and flows efficiently through the operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day‑to‑day operations across machining and/or inspection with inter‑department collaboration to ensure alignment with production priorities, customer commitments, and quality standards.
  • Translate daily production priorities into clear, actionable direction for the team, ensuring labor and resources are aligned to the most critical work.
  • Ensure effective communication across shifts, including clear pass‑downs of priorities, decisions, and any deviations from standard work to maintain continuity of execution.
  • Maintain process discipline by ensuring accurate movement of parts (physical and system transactions) and proper adherence to routers, prints, and work instructions.
  • Identify and address workflow disruptions, ensuring issues are resolved at the root cause rather than through temporary workarounds.
  • Monitor flow of work between operations, proactively identifying bottlenecks and adjusting as needed to protect delivery and throughput.
  • Promote and enforce a safe working environment, ensuring adherence to PPE and safety procedures.
  • Utilize available production data and system visibility (ERP, dashboards, etc.) to inform decisions and improve performance.
  • Lead and develop team members through clear expectations, coaching, and accountability; reinforce standards of performance and professionalism on the shop floor.
  • Facilitate team meetings focused on safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.
  • Support internal audits and ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in machining, metalworking, or inspection.
  • Strong understanding of machining operations (CNC milling, turning, or similar) and/or inspection processes is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a dynamic production environment and align team execution to business needs.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and production data to support decision‑making.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, enforce standards, and maintain accountability in a shop floor environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
  • Ability to remain composed and communicate clearly during high‑pressure or urgent situations.
Benefits
  • Foster collaboration and innovation
  • Believe in respect, trust, and excellence
  • Work hard—but take pride in doing things the right way
  • Are part of a global company with opportunities across 12 countries
