Veterinary Technician Sharon Veterinary Clinic Sharon, Massachusetts Sharon Veterinary Clinic is seeking a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. You'll get to work with a wonderful group of professionals dedicated to animal health and well-being. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing, and Sharon Veterinary Clinic encourages its staff to do the same. The ideal Veterinary Technician we are looking for will be confident in:

IV catheter placement, venipuncture. IV, IM, SQ injections.

Anesthesia induction and monitoring.

Perform diagnostic laboratory tests using Idexx Pro Cyte and Catalyst.

Assist with radiographs (dental radiograph experience a plus).Medication preparation and administration.

Obtaining patient history and preparing appointments for the doctors.

Answer phone, make appointments, schedule procedures, etc.

Clinic maintenance (general cleaning, stocking supplies, cleaning/wrapping surgical instruments)
Able to lift at least 50 pounds

Technicians typically work 4 days/week. You will be required to work some weekend/evening hours on a rotating basis. We are open Monday – Saturday1+ years of veterinary technician experience is required

Knowledge of industry tools and equipment

Experience with proper animal handling and restraint

Understand the importance of client education

Positive team-player

Willing to continue their education

Must be able to work some weekends and evenings/ rotating schedule

Pay range:
Up to $26.00 based on experience
