Veterinary Technician - Sharon Veterinary Clinic

Sharon Veterinary Clinic is seeking a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our growing team in Sharon, Massachusetts.

• IV catheter placement and venipuncture
• IV, IM, and SQ injections
• Anesthesia induction and monitoring
• Perform diagnostic laboratory tests using Idexx Pro Cyte and Catalyst
• Assist with radiographs (dental radiograph experience a plus)
• Medication preparation and administration
• Obtain patient history and prepare appointments for the doctors
• Answer phone, schedule appointments, and coordinate procedures
• Clinic maintenance: general cleaning, stocking supplies, and cleaning/wrapping surgical instruments
• Lift at least 50 pounds

• At least 1 year of veterinary technician experience
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Strong client education skills
• Positive team‑player attitude
• Willingness to continue education and training
• Availability for some weekends and evenings on a rotating basis

Technicians typically work 4 days per week. A rotating schedule includes weekends and evenings. Pay is up to $26.00 per hour based on experience.
