Job Description
Perform dimensional and functional inspections to ensure materials, components, and assemblies meet engineering and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished products
- Interpret drawings, specs, and quality standards
- Select and perform appropriate inspection methods and setups
- Apply GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) for dimensional verification
- Conduct First Piece and AS9102 First Article Inspections
- Partner with Engineering on new product inspections
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Use precision tools (micrometers, comparators, gauges, etc.)
- Operate and analyze results from CMM equipment
- Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement tools
- CMM experience preferred
- Familiarity with AS9102 a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Expertise in precision inspection and geometric dimensioning
- Hands‑on experience with inspection tools and CMMs
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read complex drawings
- Team‑first attitude and clear communication skills
- Problem‑solving mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
Hourly Rate Range: $26.00–$33.00 plus 15% 2nd shift differential. Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
