Kitchen & Bath Designer

Koopman Lumber Full-Time Pay:
Based on experience and required licenses.

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our team. This role combines consultative sales, creative design, and project coordination to deliver high‑quality kitchen and bath solutions for our customers.

You will guide customers from initial consultation through project completion, ensuring a seamless experience while driving sales and building long‑term relationships.

• Conduct consultative sales appointments to understand customer needs, budgets, and timelines
• Measure job sites and develop accurate kitchen and bath designs
• Create presentations, proposals, quotes, and design renderings
• Use 2020 Technologies (or similar software) to produce detailed layouts
• Develop accurate estimates and manage pricing and margins
• Place vendor orders and manage special orders according to company procedures
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, and installers throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to ensure successful completion
• Follow up with customers after project completion to ensure satisfaction and generate referrals
• Prospect for new business and meet or exceed sales goals

• Strong consultative sales and customer service skills
• Experience with kitchen and bath design (preferred)
• Proficiency with 2020 Technologies or similar design software
• Ability to read plans, take measurements, and create accurate layouts
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Effective communication skills

• Experience in building materials, construction, or home improvement industry
• Familiarity with estimating, pricing, and margin management

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday
• Ability to visit job sites and take measurements
• Occasional lifting and handling of samples or materials
