* ** About the Role*
* We are looking for a CNC Machinist / Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.

This is a hands-on position where you'll be working with CNC mills and/or lathes, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet specifications.

** What You'll Be Doing*
* + Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes)

+ Load and unload materials into machines

+ Run CNC programs and make adjustments as needed

+ Monitor machines during operation to ensure smooth performance

+ Inspect finished parts using tools like calipers and micrometers

+ Read and interpret blueprints and specifications

+ Perform basic machine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, etc.)

+ Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report larger problems

+ Keep accurate production logs and quality records

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

+ Follow all safety and quality standards

** What We're Looking For*
* Required:

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 1+ year of CNC machining or machine operation experience

+

Experience with CNC mills and/or lathes

+ Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools

+ Basic knowledge of machining and mechanical processes

+ Strong attention to detail and quality

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

** Preferred:*
* + 3+ years of CNC machining experience

+

Experience with setup or programming

+ Technical/trade school training

+

Experience with forklifts or cranes

+ Welding experience or certifications

** Work Environment*
* + Manufacturing / machine shop environment

+ Standing for extended periods

+ May involve lifting materials and working around machinery

+ Overtime or varied shifts may be available depending on workload
