Responsibilities- Prioritize, schedule, and assign work to Axon’s field service technicians to ensure all customers receive effective, efficient, and superior product support.
- Perform all scheduling through Salesforce Field Service Lightning.
- Correspond directly with customers on service issues and assist LCM Director with resolving customer problems. Coordinate action required from service trips and prepare correspondence on any safety issues discovered.
- Provide support for Service Technical Representatives, including technical information on parts/equipment/machinery operations, customer feedback, and administrative functions such as travel changes, expense reporting, and maintaining on‑site working and travel hours.
- Assist with scheduling service assignments and changes to accommodate customer needs, including booking or changing Service Technical Representatives’ travel arrangements.
- Review all information submitted by service technicians for invoicing to ensure accuracy and make necessary changes. Complete invoicing for service jobs to customers.
- Generate all warranty and warranty exchange orders, follow up on order status and shipment dates/schedules, check exchanged parts before shipment, ensure delivery, gather documentation, and track warranty exchange orders, including contacting customers regarding returns and issuing credits for defective parts.
- Respond to all office e‑mail through Salesforce email to case (includes Service/Part Technical Representatives general e‑mail address).
- Proactively approach customers to schedule Preferred Service Contract maintenance visits and promotional training/evaluation trips to ensure maximum Service Technician utilization and meet contractual obligations.
- Promote, coordinate, and help develop initial and follow‑up training programs for customers— conduct needs assessments, provide cost estimates, schedule sessions, and prepare training materials.
- Actively pursue methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency within the Service Department.
- Coordinate the production and distribution of Aftermarket Service Bulletins.
- Handle “rollover” calls for the Parts Sales Department, providing information on price and part availability.
- Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by management.
- High School degree or GED. 1+ years of Technical School.
- 2+ years of technical support experience, preferably with packaging machinery.
- ERP and Salesforce experience, with Syteline experience preferred.
- Strong technical skills, good organization, and computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good problem‑solving and independent judgment skills.
- Ability to read and understand complex engineering designs, including wiring schematics.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle a multitasked role effectively.
