Quality Inspector; Manufacturing

• Salary : $23.00 USD per hour - $25.00 USD per hour

Job Summary: The Quality Inspector ensures product meets or exceeds all applicable quality standards by inspecting incoming products, in‑process assemblies, manufacturing workmanship, and finished goods.

• Inspect incoming materials for workmanship and conformance to inspection plans and drawings.
• Assist in developing standard work instructions, process procedures, and inspection plans.
• Interpret GD&T, IPC 610, and quality standards to evaluate product compliance and provide required reporting.
• Carry out inspections using various instruments such as micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, and multimeters.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure effective information and data transfer to meet customer needs and organizational objectives.
• Participate in continuous improvements, process audits, and problem‑solving to ensure compliance with the Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

• Knowledge of quality and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and read blueprints.
• In‑depth understanding of GD&T, IPC 610, and other quality standards.
• Self‑motivated and proactive.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem‑solving.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience in manufacturing or a similar industry.
• Experience with inspection instruments such as micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, and multimeters.
• High School diploma; technical associate’s degree preferred.
• IPC certifications.
• ASQ Quality Inspector certification is a plus.

• Walking: 15‑40 % of time
• Fine Motor Movements: >70 % of time
