The Manufacturing Process Technician supports daily production by operating equipment, performing basic troubleshooting, and ensuring processes run safely and efficiently. This role works closely with operators, maintenance, and engineering to keep equipment running smoothly and to support improvements on the production floor. The Process Technician assists with line changeovers, equipment setups, and routine checks to maintain consistent product quality and throughput.

What will your day look like?- Operate assigned production equipment safely and efficiently while operating with a safety-first mindset
- Perform equipment setups, changeovers, and basic adjustments according to standard procedures, monitor equipment performance and uplift issues that require maintenance or engineering support, and complete routine checks such as visual inspections, lubrications and cleaning
- Identify and resolve minor mechanical or process issues to minimize downtime, document equipment issues and communication effectively to both Maintenance and Engineering, and assist in root cause investigations by providing accurate observations and data
- Follow all safety procedures LOTO, PPE requirements, and report any safety concerns, equipment hazards, or quality issues promptly. Perform quality checks and ensure products meet specifications
- Follow SOP and provide improvements when needed, support CI and NPI activities providing feedback on equipment performance and process flow, and assist in any trials from the direction of Engineering
- Maintain accurate production and equipment records
- Support training of new operators on equipment operation and participate in team or department meetings to contribute to problem solving discussions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist other teams as needed to meet production goals
- Any other job duties as assigned.
What you bring to the table:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Train the Trainer Certificate required
- Forklift certification required or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, 5 preferred
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience operating technical or production equipment
- Experience supporting equipment setups, changeovers, and routine production activities
- Exposure to continuous improvement (CI) or new product/process introduction (NPI) activities in a manufacturing setting
- Experience working collaboratively with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and operate multiple machine types
- Ability to follow written procedures, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues and escalation appropriately
- Comfortable using ERP systems, production tracking tools, and basic technology systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with operators, peers, and leaders
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to contribute to problem‑solving discussions
- Demonstrates good judgment, reliability, and trustworthiness
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and manage priorities in a fast‑paced production environment
- Goal‑oriented and able to perform under pressure while maintaining a safety‑first mindset
